Filters and Blending Modes




On both of these photos I used gradient maps, hard light, and soft light blending modes as well as the curves, and color balance adjustment layers.

 Landscapes  Grand Landscapes - the “big view” for pictures of the great outdoors - wide-open expanses that showcase the majesty of the natural world. National, State, or city parks are great locations to explore landscapes. Detail Landscapes -  often, a less imposing landscape which is more inviting and comfortable. Abstract Landscapes -  images composed of lines, shapes, values, and textures. Tree bark patterns or lichen on a boulder can become abstract images.

  Which adjustment made the most impact on your image? I did high frequency retouching  on the skin which made the most impact aside from dodging and burning Which adjustment did you enjoy using the most? I really like doing skin adjustments and taking my time to blend the colors to make it seem natural yet unblemished On a scale of 1(easy)-10(very difficult) how difficult was this? I think it was a 4 they were both very fun and not too difficult
