Bring Action to Life

Image
What is your favorite part of this image? I like how I color edited the picture using curves and the color balance adjustment layers What was the most difficult part of this process? I couldn't do it on my own camera after a few attempts  so I resorted to using a stock image :((( What was the easiest part of this process? The easiest part was editing the picture and attempting to blend the picture into one to make it look seamless

Frozen Motion

I think my best picture is the first one because of the location and the composition. I also like that I caught her hair mid air. My least successful picture is the second one because it was very hard to capture someone racing and constantly dipping under the water so I didn't have that much time to capture the shot and I was crouched in an unstable position. My ideal action photography subject would be any person I love photographing peopled doing simple things like laughing talking or doing the sport they enjoy.

Motion Blur

I think all my images look relatively real as if someone took the picture with  long shutter speed ad moved the camera. With them motion blur I also made to copies of the original layer and decreased them to 50% nd offset them and erased where the original face is showing. I think doing this made it more realistic.

What did Clark do before photography? - He worked in a botanical garden for 17 years  What do you like about his work? -  I think he takes amazing shots and looks like he is very passionate about what he does  What do you not like about his work? -  It may become repetitive since he takes shots of the ocean and ocean life only  What brand of camera does he use and how does he take it into the water? -  Nikon and he puts it in a clear plastic case Is this a career that you would consider, why/why not? - I think it is definitely fun and rewarding so I could definitely consider this career option. You get to take beautiful pictures while having fun!

Action Photography

The one thing I like about this photo is the editing and I managed to capture his still motion, not blurry. I do wish I changed the ISO because it looks like some of the water and his cap is overexposed, although this does add to the shine/aura around him and on his arm. and the contrasted sports photo look I was attempting. Again I a glad I had fast enough reflexes to capture this photo since I had to balance on a desk and a chair to take it. I do wish I composed it better since they seem to be off center which bothers me as well as the oversaturated magenta color I edited in to compliment the walls. Next time I'll try a more contrasting tone. I like the motion blur as it gives the impressions she's laughing and having fun/bring spontaneous. The photo was very orange and I should've picked a better location to shoot since editing out the orange was tough and you can still see the orange light reflected in the floor Although I took this before COVID I really wanted to inc
